Notice of Job Opportunity

Multiple Elementary/Middle School Educators needed to provide academic instruction and/or curriculum development per teaching area specialties in elementary/middle grade education setting. Duties include but not limited to: teach general academics or particular subject, such as math, per teaching specialty; be responsible for preparing course objectives and study outlines following curriculum guidelines; plan and demonstrate strategies for developmental objectives and required knowledge; prepare materials for classroom or individual study activities; prepare and administer tests to evaluate students’ progress. Instructional specialists coordinate and develop curriculum and instruction for teachers and classes.

Requirements: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree & 1-2 years work experience in the education specialty according to assigned position & seniority. Meet D.C. Highly Qualified Status by the standard of the NCLB Act. Standard hiring process applies, including competence & reference check.
